EASTER RISING

In 2016, the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising in Ireland and their independence from the English monarch by was marked by the installation of a memorial outside the Cohalan Court Complex in Suffolk County. The limestone monument was designed by Fricke Memorials, made in Ireland., and installed by Fricke Memorials for the dedication. The monument features the proclamation of the people of Ireland with names along the bottom belonging to the martyrs who were part of the rising.
