CHOOSING A MONUMENT

Memorializing your loved one

The grieving process is never an easy one; but there is healing in remembering your loved one and honoring their memory. When thinking about how to memorialize your loved one, the three key things to do are:

A stone cross grave monument surrounded by green shrubs and yellow and white flowers under a bright blue sky.

SELECTING YOUR MONUMENT

  • Various granite and marble headstones arranged in a display area.

    Stone Styles

A monument can take many forms from a flat marker to a mausoleum. Your decision will be informed by the cemetery’s regulations, your budget, and your personal preference. We will guide you through this selection.

  • A display of eight polished granite headstones arranged in a row inside a showroom, with three landscape wall art pieces above them and two potted plants on either side.

    Granite Color

Fricke Memorials offers a wide variety of quality granites sourced domestically and globally. Our team has curated a selection of beautiful colors to give you the chance to commemorate your loved one with a color that suits them best.

  • Group of three large sculptures and a framed picture on the wall. The sculptures include a heart-shaped sculpture with swan and wave details, a mermaid sculpture holding a large shell, and a rectangular carved stone with floral design. Part of a gray upholstered chair is visible on the right.

    Design Methods

Designing your monument is an opportunity to encapsulate the life of your loved one. We use a variety of instruments to manufacture your design from sandblasting, etching, hand carving, and embedding mosaic tiles or portraits.
