At the LT. Michael P. Murphy Navy Seal Museum in West Sayville, NY, we constructed a memorial in honor of Murphy and his role in the War in Afghanistan. Murphy was killed in the line of duty while saving his fellow soldier and the recovery of his fallen team. Murphy has the highest decoration in the U.S. Military, the Medal of Honor. Prior to this decoration, a close friend of Murphy came to us to create a memorial for his friend in the image of his field cross. Our team at Fricke worked to have his exact flippers, helmet, and diving mask cast in bronze to create this statue. This memorial can be found at American Legion Post 269 in Patchogue, NY.
